Greetings! I am currently a student at Saarland University, pursuing Master of Science in Visual Computing. Moreover, I am a 2020 Electrical Engineering graduate from Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, India and was a member of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Biomedical and Human Factors Engineering directed by Professor Yusuf Uzzaman Khan.
My main interests lie at the intersection of Signal and Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Biomedical Image Computing with a focus on advancing medical technologies and improving healthcare systems. I have hands-on experience with a variety of different computer vision projects in both industry and academia. Before joining Saarland University, I worked as a Data Science Research Intern at Onward Health, India. There, I developed deep learning models for the multi-class segmentation of positive and negative cells in Ki67 and ER/PR stained breast immunohistochemistry (IHC) images to assist pathologists and radiologists in doing breast cancer diagnosis and prognosis.
Selected for the prestigious Globalink Research Internship to participate in a 12-week research in Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory in Imaging and Combinatorics at University of Quebec, Trois Rivieres, Canada.
Selected among the top 50 students from India for the prestigious Khorana Program for Scholars to pursue research internship at Boston University, Boston, USA.
Awarded a scholarship from the university for continuously ranking among the top three students in the class of 76 students of Electrical Engineering.
Selected among the top 25 students from India for the prestigious GIPEDI Program to pursue research internship at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India.
